Rare Salt-Glazed Stoneware Spaniel with Cobalt Decoration, Ohio origin, late 19th century, large-sized molded figure of a seated spaniel with cobalt highlights throughout, including chain, face, tail, and paws. Broken into two large pieces and reglued. An additional hairline to left side of dog's face and chest. In-the-firing wrinkles in clay. H 11 1/2".
