Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Southeastern PA origin, circa 1860, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, decorated with a heavily-brushed swag and hanging flower design extending around the shoulder of the jar. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some light bubbling to heavier areas of cobalt.
