Four-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "P. HERRMANN," Baltimore, MD, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, semi-squared, and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed cobalt swag and hanging tulip design. A short faint line in both handles and a chip to end of one handle. A very tight 6" Y-shaped hairline on side of jar, difficult to see.
