Two-Gallon Stoneware Cake Crock with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, Stamped "F.B. NORTON & CO / WORCESTER. MASS," circa 1870, cylindrical crock with rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with two crossed leaves, the intersection of the two embellished with dots, flourishes, and a "tornado" motif. 2 1/4" rim chip on side of crock. A surface scratch to right side of front. Some light exfoliation to underside. A glazed-over stone ping to rim.
