One-Gallon Ochre-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "L. NORTON & SON," Bennington, VT origin, circa 1835, ovoid jug with tooled spout and ribbed handle, the front decorated with a finely-brushed floral design in reddish-brown slip. Excellent condition.
