Rare Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar, Stamped "J. BUCK / COLDRUN, O," Ohio origin, mid 19th century, ovoid jar with tall collar and applied lug handles, impressed with maker's and capacity marks under one handle. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. This jar is the first example of this elusive Ohio maker's mark we have offered. Base of jar broken out and reglued. Some thin areas of damage along crack line.
