Two Midwestern Stoneware Crocks, fourth quarter 19th century, a two-gallon cylindrical crock with slip-trailed "2" underscored by a corkscrewing line; paired with a three-gallon crock with slip-trailed "3," underscored by a "bee stinger" motif, possibly Red Wing. Two-gallon crock with a 3" hairline from rim and a hairline extending around much of base, part of which extends several inches up reverse. Three-gallon crock with large handle chip, a few hairlines, and staining.
