Three Glazed Redware Batter Pitchers, American, 19th century, all of squat, ovoid form with pouring spouts, applied handles, and sponged manganese decoration under a clear lead glaze. One retains its original manganese-decorated lid. Lidded example with thin cracks in underside, continuing onto base, two chips and wear to rim, light wear to midsection, and some wear to lid. Largest pitcher with wear to rim and handle. Smallest pitcher with a few minor base chips, tiny chips to rim, and a tiny chip to handle. H (of lidded example) 6 3/4".
