Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Northeastern U.S. origin, 19th century, a three-gallon jar with cobalt floral decoration, stamped "UNION POTTERY / NEWARK, N.J. / J. SIPF, Prop'r," paired with a two-gallon jug with slip-trailed floral design. Union Pottery jar with significant, wide inverted Y-shaped crack from rim and several rim chips. Jug with fry to cobalt, a spout chip, and a hairline extending partway down front.
