Stoneware Spaniel Doorstop, Midwestern origin, late 19th century, molded in the form of a seated spaniel with impressed eyes and incised nose and mouth, the surface covered in a chocolate brown Albany slip glaze. Wear to mouth and corner of one eye. What appears to be damage to the right side of the neck is actually an unglazed area. Minor stone ping at bottom edge. H 7 1/2".
