Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Stenciled Federal Eagle Decoration, Inscribed "EAGLE POTTERY," Greensboro, PA, circa 1875, ovoid jug with narrow spout accented with tooling at the base, the front cobalt-decorated with a large stenciled Federal eagle with shield, olive branch, and arrows, holding a banner, inscribed "EAGLE POTTERY". Stenciled "3" at base. Some spidering lines emanating from base. Spout with two small chips filled with whitish substance.
