Rare Diminutive Glazed Redware Bank, probably PA origin, 19th century, ovoid form with pointed finial, diagonally-carved slot, and heavily-tooled bands. Surface covered in a reddish brown lead-and-manganese glaze with dark flecks. Pen inscription on underside indicating that it was purchased at a Hartsine Auction in PA during the 20th century. Small base chip. Otherwise excellent condition. H 2 3/4".
