Glazed Redware Jar, New England origin, probably Connecticut, first half 19th century, ovoid jar with pronounced foot, tall collar, and ribbed lug handles, decorated with splashes of manganese over a reddish-orange ground. Chips and wear to rim. Wear to shoulder molding on one side. Minor wear to base and edge of one handle. H 8 1/2".
