Small-Sized Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin, mid 19th century, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and tall collar, decorated with a brushed cobalt design of two flowers extending from a leafy stem. Includes stepped wooden lid. A few rim chips. Two short hairlines from rim. Some fry to cobalt. H 7 1/4".
