Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Large Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "J. NORTON & CO. / BENNINGTON VT," circa 1850, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with an elaborate and artistic slip-trailed floral design. Some small chips on interior of rim and one chip on exterior of rim. Faint lines in underside. Small base chip on reverse. A few small chips to one handle.
