Rare Stoneware Cream Pitcher, Inscribed "Anna," attributed to Wallace and Cornwall Kirkpatrick, Anna, IL, circa 1880, elegantly-potted pitcher with bulbous midsection, tall flaring collar, with large spout, and upswept handle extending from the rim. Surface covered in a chocolate-brown Albany slip glaze. Pitcher incised "Anna" across the front, in distinctive Kirkpatrick script. A scarce Anna Pottery form, reminiscent of washbowl pitchers of the Victorian era. Wear to rim, light wear to handle, and a few small base chips. H 4 7/8".
