Two Slip-Decorated Redware Plates, American, first half 19th century, both with coggled edges, one decorated with three bands of wavy yellow slip stripes, the two outer bands accented with yellow slip spots; paired with a second plate featuring a wavy yellow slip stripe flanked by two other stripes. Plate with three rows of slip decoration has two hairlines, a 1 1/4" rim chip, and wear to interior. Other plate with some wear to interior, chips to exterior of rim, small nick to interior of rim, and significant damage to reverse. Diameter (of larger plate) 10 1/2".
