Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "SOLOMON BELL / STRASBURG / Va," circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with two large brushed flowers applied over heavy whitish slip. A rim chip, some wear to rim, a few tiny nicks to shoulder molding, and a tight line on underside.
