Two-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, probably Catawba Valley, NC, late 19th century, cylindrical jug with flared spout and ribbed strap handle, the surface covered in a streaky olive-colored alkaline glaze. Incised "2" on shoulder. Chip on side of handle with short line extending from it. H 14 1/4".
