One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Cream Jar, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG. PA," circa 1865, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and flattened rim, decorated with a large brushed cobalt flower featuring a dotted blossom. Some fry to cobalt. Small stone ping on top of rim. 1" section at base with shallow chips, which appears to be in-the-firing. Some staining.
