Four-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crock, Stamped "HAXSTUN & CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.," circa 1870, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a stylized cobalt floral design. Flaking to surface and underside. 2 1/2" hairline from rim on reverse. Additional 2 1/2" hairline from rim on front. 8" hairline extending down from underneath one handle. Rim chip on front.
