Four-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Churn, Stamped "NEW YORK STONEWARE CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.," circa 1875, ovoid churn with rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt floral design accented with spots. Small handle chips. 4 1/4" inverted Y-shaped hairline from rim. 1 3/4" inverted T-shaped line from rim on reverse. Some very faint lines on underside. Wear to Albany slip on interior.
