Handled Stoneware Canning Jar, Stenciled "JAS. BENJAMIN / CINCINNATI, O.," circa 1880, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder, wax sealer rim, and applied handle, decorated with the stenciled cobalt name "JAS. BENJAMIN, / WHOLESALE / STONEWARE / DEPOT. / No. 14 WATER ST. / CINCINNATI, O.". Some in-the-firing bubbles in clay on underside. Light wear to interior of wax sealer rim.
