Half-Gallon Salt-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO," PA origin, circa 1850-1880, cylindrical jug with rounded shoulder and flared spout, decorated with an unusual incised wavy line at the shoulder, the surface covered in a streaky whitish slip. Tight X-shaped crack on front. Small chip on interior of spout. H 9 1/8".
