Stoneware Jug with Incised Foliate Design, attributed to Joseph Henry Remmey, South Amboy, NY, circa 1820, approximately three-gallon, highly ovoid jug with tooled shoulder and spout, the shoulder decorated with an incised and cobalt-highlighted floral motif including well-detailed leaves. Crack in handle. Minor chipping to base.
