Shenandoah Valley Multi-Glazed Redware Wall Pocket, attributed to J. Eberly & Co., Strasburg, VA, circa 1890, with flared base, coggled rim, and applied decoration of a bird perched on a flowering plant. Glazed surface decorated in shades of cream, green, and brown, over an orange ground. Fully-restored handle, including below where wall pocket joins rim on reverse. Restoration to beak, forehead, and chest of bird. Colored rim chip. H 6 5/8".
