Four-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Churn, probably Alabama origin, late 19th century, cylindrical form with tall collar, applied open handle on one side, and applied lug on the reverse. Surface covered in a streaky greenish glaze. Provenance: Ex-Terry Ferrell. Small chip to end of lug handle. Rim chips and chips on interior where a lid would rest.
