SWANN / ALEXA," Alexandria, VA, circa 1820, ovoid jug with tooled shoulder and semi-squared rim, impressed at the shoulder with rare maker's mark of Alexandria, VA potter, John Swann. Professionally-restored handle. Restoration to damage on back of spout. A few base chips. 1" flake to left side.
