Rare Rockingham Fire Engine Pitcher, Stamped "A. CADMUS / CONGRESS POTTERY / SOUTH AMBOY / N. JERSEY," mid 19th century, with hound handle and raised grape vine motif below rim, the pitcher's body decorated with two raised scenes of firemen with a fire engine. Abraham Cadmus maker's mark on underside. Restoration to spout. Some wear to high points of raised designs, with clear overglaze. H (to top of handle) 9".
