Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird Decoration, attributed to Darrow & Sons, Baldwinville, NY, circa 1870, cylindrical crock with applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt design of a bird perched on a branch. Long vertical crack to left of bird. Additional 3" hairline from rim on front. 7 1/2" vertical crack to right of handle. Painted interior.
