Glazed Pottery Canning Jar, Stamped "JOHN BELL," Waynesboro, PA origin, circa 1840-1880, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and "wax sealer" rim, the surface covered in a lead glaze over a gray and brown stoneware body. Impressed "JOHN BELL" on underside. Essentially as-made condition with bubbling to glaze. H 6 3/4".
