Rare Salt-Glazed Stoneware Jolly "N" Bank, probably Midwestern U.S., late 19th century, in the form of an African-American bust, the mouth carved to form a coin slot. Incised detail to hair. Small base chip. Faint hairline extending across bottom and 2 3/4" up reverse of bank. Additional faint line to chest, which appears to be in the surface only. H 6 1/2".
