One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG, PA," circa 1865, ovoid jug with semi-squared spout, decorated with a brushed cobalt floral design with dotted blossom. Essentially as-made condition with some fry to cobalt and a tiny nick and minor contact mark to bottom edge. H 11 1/2".
