Six-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Churn, Midwestern origin, mid 19th century, semi-ovoid form with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed cobalt floral design. Small Y-shaped hairline at base. Minor wear to interior where a lid would rest. 4 1/4" tight spidering hairline at base. Two other short hairlines at base. A few small rim chips. H 19".
