Six-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Churn, Stamped "HUBBELL & CHESEBRO, / GEDDES. N.Y.," circa 1875, cylindrical churn with flared rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a large brushed and slip-trailed cobalt floral design. Includes Albany-slip-glazed lid and wooden dasher. Provenance: Lawrence Fish Estate, Trenton, NJ. Minor wear to handles. Chip to exterior of rim. Wear to ledge on interior of rim. 3" Y-shaped hairline on underside. Lid in excellent condition. Some staining to surface. H (including lid) 20".
