Small-Sized Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crock, attributed to van Schoik & Dunn, Middletown Point (now Matawan), NJ, circa 1855, cylindrical crock with lug handles, decorated with a cobalt floral with dotted center. Crazing to underside, not visible on interior. Some staining to surface. 3" sealed hairline from rim. Chip to one handle. Short hairlines at base. H 5 1/2".
