Four-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "FORT EDWARD STONE WARE CO, / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.," circa 1870, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a long-tailed, crested bird perched on a leaf. Several rim chips. One handle chip. A few minor in-the-firing lines at base, extending a short distance onto underside. H 11 1/8".
