Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "J.& E. NORTON / BENNINGTON, VT.," circa 1855, cylindrical jug with sloped shoulder and squared rim, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt floral design accented with dotted trails. Excellent color. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 13 1/4".
