One-Gallon Yellow-Glazed Jug, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO," PA origin, circa 1860, ovoid jug with short rounded spout and applied handle, decorated with heavy lead glaze over a yellow ground. Provenance: Recently found in New England. Two base chips and a small rim chip. H 9 1/2".
