Fine Large-Sized Stoneware Canning Jar, Stenciled "A. CONRAD / NEW GENEVA. / PA," circa 1875, tapered jar with tooled shoulder and thick "wax sealer" rim, the front decorated with wide stripes of cobalt and an elaborate stenciled foliate design. Chipping to interior of rim. H 9 5/8".
