Stoneware Jar with Coggled Fish and Berry Decoration, attributed to the Morgan / van Wickle Pottery, Old Bridge, NJ, circa 1820, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and rounded rim, decorated with a coggled design featuring fish and berries, brushed over in cobalt. Provenance: Laurence Fish Estate, Trenton, NJ. Thin 3 1/2" spider crack near base, with a single thin crack extending onto and across underside. H 8 3/4".
