Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "N.A. WHITE & SON / UTICA, N.Y.," circa 1885, cylindrical jug with sloped shoulder and tall spout, decorated with a brushed and slip-trailed cobalt vine design with a smaller flower and large leaves. Provenance: Laurence Fish Estate, Trenton, NJ. Essentially as-made condition with some grittiness to front, discoloration to surface, and a short faint line to upper handle terminal. H 14".
