One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, attributed to Stephen Sweeney, Henrico Co., VA, circa 1860, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-squared rim, decorated with wavy stripes of cobalt around the shoulder. Several rim chips. 4 3/4", 4", and 2" cracks from rim. H 10 1/4".
