Two Cortland NY Stoneware Crocks, circa 1867-1869, a one-gallon crock with large cobalt flower, marked "CORTLAND," paired with a four-gallon crock with large floral design, marked "M. WOODRUFF / CORTLAND." Provenance: Lynn White Collection, Readfield, ME. One-gallon crock with flaking, rim chips, and hairlines from rim. Five-gallon crock with large reglued pieces, rim chips, and fry to cobalt. H (of one-gallon crock) 7 1/2".
