Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird Decoration, NY State origin, circa 1860, cylindrical jug with sloped shoulder and rounded spout, decorated with a large slip-trailed cobalt bird perched on a leaf. Y-shaped hairline in underside. 4 1/2" spidering hairline on front of jug. H 14 1/2".
