One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Slip-Trailed Cobalt Decoration, Stamped "GEDDES.N.Y.," circa 1860, cylindrical jug with rounded shoulder and squared spout, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt looping line design. Provenance: Lynn White Collection, Readfield, ME. Spout chip. Fry to cobalt. A few minor lines at base, continuing 3/4" onto underside. One large spout chip. One small spout chip. H 10 3/4".
