One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Looping Line Decoration, Stamped "W.H. FARRAR & CO. / GEDDES, N.Y.," circa 1860, decorated with an elaborate slip-trailed line design, accented with additional swags. Provenance: Lynn White Collection, Readfield, ME. Large stone ping to spout. Base chip to reverse. 1 1/8" flake on top of spout, which may have occurred in the making. Horizontal hairline in handle. H 11 1/2".
