One-Gallon Troy, NY Stoneware Advertising Jug, Stamped "WEST TROY. / N.Y. / POTTERY," circa 1875, cylindrical jug with tall spout, stenciled in large cobalt letters "ARTHER McCUSKER / 38 & 30 DIVISION ST. / TROY, N.Y." As-made condition with a salt drip on front and a few short in-the-firing separations at base on reverse. H 10 1/2".
