Four-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG, PA," circa 1865, ovoid jug with squared spout, decorated with two large brushed cobalt tulips. Some fry to cobalt. Glazed-over chip on exterior of spout. Chips on interior of spout. Horizontal hairline at base on front. Stone ping on right side of jug. H 16".
