Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar Dated 1941, Stamped "STANGL / STONEWARE" Trenton, NJ origin, ovoid jar with flared rim and applied strap handles, decorated with a brushed flowering plant design and the date 1941. Interior with Albany slip glaze. Excellent condition with very minor base wear, which probably occurred in the firing, along with a small glazed-over rim chip. H 9 1/2".
